The answers to some of the most common questions
regarding Wainhouse Research (WR) subscription services are
provided below:
Is All Content on the PLATINUM Website Available to All
Website Visitors?
Although the majority of content on the PLATINUM website is available
FREE to all website visitors (in some cases registration is required),
some content is available to content subscribers only. Your
subscription status is as follows:
VCP - In order to view your PLATINUM
PRO subscription options, you must Log On or
Register (FREE). -
PLATINUM PRO - In order to view your PLATINUM
PRO subscription options, you must Log On or
Register (FREE).

Streaming Products - In order to view your Streaming
Products subscription options, you must Log On or
Register (FREE).

Streaming Services - In order to view your Streaming
Services subscription options, you must Log On or
Register (FREE).
How Do I Know Which Content I Can View / Download?
To see whether or not you have access to a specific content item (and
the access level required for that content item), please look for the
access tags below:
 = Content
available to you (either available to all, or available to you via a
paid subscription / individual document purchase).
 = Content
available to registered visitors only
(registration
is
FREE).
= Content
available through one (or more) of WR's subscription services
 = Content
available for purchase only (not by subscription).
Are the WR Comparison Matrices Available in Excel (XLS)
Format?
Yes – For a nominal additional fee per year, subscribers can gain
access to the comparison matrix source files in Excel (XLS) format.

Just How Objective Is WR's Subscription Content?
The Wainhouse Research staff works hard to provide straight-shooting,
honest analysis and opinions in all of our content. The distribution of
our documents may be sponsored, but the content itself is always third
party and objective.
Can I Make Content Topic Requests?
Yes - please submit your content request via email by clicking here.
Although we will do our best, we cannot guarantee that every content
request will be fulfilled.
What is WR's Errors and Omissions Policy for VCP / PLATINUM
PRO Subscription Content?
WR’s goal is to provide our VCP subscribers with the most up-to-date
and accurate coverage possible. In the event that WR is informed of
inaccurate or missing information related to the coverage of a VCP
subscriber’s company or offering, WR will make every effort to remedy
the situation within two (2) business days. For issues related to
coverage of non-VCP subscribers, WR will assess the impact of the
situation and perform any appropriate updates as we deem necessary.
Are Wainhouse Research Reports Included in the WR's
Subscription Services?
Visual Communication Practice
(VCP) subscribers enjoy access to ALL content focusing on the
following markets:
This includes a variety of segment reports and other coverage documents
that are normally only available for purchase.
Please note, this website also hosts a variety of other segment reports
focusing on
other topics (e.g. audio conferencing, web conferencing, distance
education, etc.) that are NOT included in the VCP Subscription.
If my company size changes significantly, how does this impact
my subscription?
- If during the term of the subscription, the subscriber
acquires another company or hires additional people, the company’s
existing subscription will cover all employees within the organization.
Note, however, that this may increase the subscription cost for future
renewals.
- If the subscriber is acquired by a non-subscriber company,
the subscriber company’s existing subscription will cover only the
employees of the original subscriber company. To extend the
subscription to cover all employees in the combined organization, a new
subscription must be purchased. A credit will be provided for the time
remaining on the prior subscription.
- If during the term of the subscription it determined that a
subscription was priced based on an inaccurate total number of
employees, WR reserves the right to retroactively charge the subscriber
for the difference between the amount paid and the correct subscription
cost.
Can I License Subscription Content for Distribution Outside My
Organization?
Yes - subscription content can be licensed in a variety of ways. The
standard pricing for unlimited, non-exclusive distribution licensing
ranges from
US $5,000 for a typical research note to US $20,000 for a product /
service comparison matrix.
Can I Cancel My Subscription?
Cancellations are possible only before the first
piece of subscription content has been downloaded. Note that canceled
subscriptions will be
subject to a cancellation fee of up to 20% of the subscription price.
